?? ?* - I KINGSTREE HIGH SCHOOL NOTES. ; i? ? The Wee Nee Literary society held its annual picnic at Duke's lake Saturday, April 22. About 10 o'clock a.m.three wagons packed full of merry boys and girls left town bound for the lake. Between 11, and 12 o'clock we reached our des-j tination. All kinds of games, in-! eluding a game of baseball, were plavftd. At 2 o'clock dinner, consisting of all imaginable kinds of edibles, was served and thoroughly enjoyed. The crowd reached town about dark, very tired but happy. Thursday Polk Miller and his old comrade. Col Booker, came to the school-house and entertained us for an hour. We enjoyed immensely the privilege of hearing the "Two Old Confederates", and if Mr Miller and his company should visit Kingstree at any future time &ey will be heartily welcomed at the school house.
