It is with sorrow that we are call1 on to chronicle the death of lajor H 0 Snow, which occurred at is homo hove last Saturday afteroon at 3:3u o'clock from a stroke 1 paralysis sustained some two ours bef jre. About two years ago Major Snow ad a stroke of paralysis, which arreted his left side, <Ind since that ime he has. been in very poor' ealth. Funeral services were held at the lethodist church by his pastor, lev J VV Weston, at 3 o'clock Monav afternoon and interment was in Itubbs cemetery. A large crowd ttended the services and attested he high est-em in which the deeased was held. Mr Snow was a resident of Abbeville for about 14 years, moving lere from South Carolina, and was ngaged in the life insurance busiiess. He was well known all over South Georgia, and was an unvsualy successful man in his line, highly steemed by all and his death is generally deplored.
