It is with sorrow that we are call1
on to chronicle the death of
lajor H 0 Snow, which occurred at
is homo hove last Saturday afteroon
at 3:3u o'clock from a stroke
1 paralysis sustained some two
ours bef jre.
About two years ago Major Snow
ad a stroke of paralysis, which arreted
his left side, <Ind since that
ime he has. been in very poor'
ealth.
Funeral services were held at the
lethodist church by his pastor,
lev J VV Weston, at 3 o'clock Monav
afternoon and interment was in
Itubbs cemetery. A large crowd
ttended the services and attested
he high est-em in which the deeased
was held.
Mr Snow was a resident of Abbeville
for about 14 years, moving
lere from South Carolina, and was
ngaged in the life insurance busiiess.
He was well known all over
South Georgia, and was an unvsualy
successful man in his line, highly
steemed by all and his death is
generally deplored.
Deceased leaves a loving wife,
our sons, Dr H 0 Snow of Tampa,
da; Mr A C Snow of Meridian,
diss; Mr P S Snow of Milton, Fla;
,nd a young son, Master Harry; six
laughters, Mrs G H Davis of Live
)ak, Fla; Mrs R L Saylor of Jackonville,
Fla; Mrs J M Spencer of
.'ampa, Fla; Misses Sadie, Luile
and Julia Snow of this city.
