President Taft's pecial train was parked in the ailroad yards immediately alongide one of the sleeping car trains >f the three-ring circus, which >layed in Jackson as an opwsition attraction to the Presilenton yesterday. It was not long before an acjuaintance had been formed iboard the two trains, and for i time the conversation ran from vindow to window like this: "We play in Yazoo to-mor ow, where do you play?" asked i representative of the circus, adIressing one of the Presidential jarty. "We play Columbus in the ifternoon and Birmingham at light, with a street parade in X)th places," came the reply. "We played Columbus yesterlay." "How was business?" "Bully." ''We get the crowds wherever **e go." boasted a Presidential me-night stander. ' 'But we get the money,'' came jack the circus man, amid the ipplause of his associates. "Yes." put in a lady bareback :*ider, "and you only have onerdntfnrm shnw and a hand in the parade. He was the leading clown. The bombardment from the three-ring show became so heavy that the Presidential adherents ?ave up the task of further comparison, and all hands parted company with expressions of jreat delight that the circus .vas going into winter quarters n two weeks, and that the Presilent's troupe was quitting the 'oad in ten days.
