Another Burglary.
Sunday morning" Mr P S Court,
ney, of the firm of P S Courtney
& Co., missed several articles of
merchandise from his store including"
4 pairs of shoes, several
shirts and some ties. Later in
the day he caug"ht Ervin Jones,
a negro boy about 12 or 13 years
old, wearing one of the shirts.
On Monday Mr Courtney swore
out a warrant against the boy
before Magistrate Grayson and
had him bound over to the court
of sessions. Failing to give the
bond required, $200, Ervin was
committed to jail. It is supposed
that on Saturday night
before the robbery he secreted
himself in the store and took the
thirnrti at his leisure.
There have been a number of
these robberies committed recently
and it is high time some
of the thieves were taught a1
lesson.

Lead-and-oil is all paiut but
not good paint; the lead wants zinc.

Election Notice.
A second Priroarv Election is hereby
ordered to be held on Tuesday, September
U 1904. The same managers
will serve as in the first primary, or
the presidents of clubs may appoint
managers to take their places. Polls
| will be opened at 8 o'clock a. m , and
! close at 4 o'clock p.-m. After tabulating
the vote the managers shall certfly
to the result and forward the ballot
boxes, poll lists and all other papers
relating to said election by one of their
number to Kingstrec within forty-eight
hours after the close of the noils.
Kxecutive committee will meet in
Kings*ree on Thursday, September 15,
to tabulate the vote and declare the result
of the second primary election.
