IN MCMORIAM. Marion R Lev.n?Born in Charleston March 27, 1867.?Died in Kingstres November 15, 1902. When it was noised that he was no more, all those who knew him lamented the sudden demise of one 1 of such sterling worth. Yes, he is dead, but bis imagery will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him well. He did not live for self, bnt spent his time for the benefit of others. Those noble j impulses which were innate in him, j were ever being refreshed by distrib- : uting the bread of charity. The hand of penury, when extended, did not go away empty. Never contending, bnt ever ready to assist the unfortunate, his was the voluntary I life of sacrifice. Like the Master, ' he Mid, today and tomorrow I mast do. And he wac not one of those who say and do not He did his daty?none can do more. He was one of those men who could not be made to swerve from duty.
