The court at Lexington met
last Monday with Judge Frank L>
Gary, who was appointed to hold
, this court, on the bench. On the
recommendation of the grand
jury and the vounty officials
Judge Gary ruled that 'he case
be carried over to the second

ot counsel the time tor the trial to

a battle royal is expected between
the counsel for the prose
cut ion and the defence. On both
aides are arrayed many of the
ablest lawyers of the State and
every inch of ground will be stubl)ornly
