When the chasm of the a years is bridged and these :'rieuds i and comrades of a common cause r meet and grasp one another's hand ! it is pleasant to behold the flush of I pleasure and the kindling of ths eye' , as for an instant their minds revert! to the strenuous times when they | stood shoulder to shoulder beneath! Dr. Nesom thinks that cattle raising would be very profitable in this State., especially since , the price of beef has advanced so high. We were very sorry that on ac 2 >ant of ili health, Mr. U. utile Epps, had to leave college. Mr. Epps had to go home last vear on account of his health. He will be missed very much among his college associates, as he was one of the brightest men in his class. We hope that he will soon recover from his malady, and be able to resume his duties at college next year. The many friends of Mr. L. H. McCullough, one of our last year's graduates, were surprised to learn i that hejiad entered into the realm of matrimonial bliss.
