Miss Ilattie Belle McCollough and Mr. W. ]). Daniel were married on Tuesday, October ?, ut 10 o'clock ' a. in., in the church of the Nativity,: Union, S. Rev. Wilmot IS. Holmes performing the ceremony. It was a quiet hut very beautiful wedding, the only persons present except near relatives being a tew intimate friends of the bride's family. The white tloral decorations and the fair young musicians, Misses Bessie Young and Catherine Thomson, made a pleasing picture, the effect of which was enhanced by the entrance of the bride looking her prettiest, as it is a girl's duty to do 011 her wedding morn. The bride was attired in white or gandie with mechliu lace, and her hoinjuet consisted of brides' roses and j ferns. The organ and violins played Mendelssohn's wedding march as she came up the aisle on the arm of her brother, Mr. D. 11. McCollough. The betrothal was said at the entrance of the chancel, and then the bride and groom, with the maid of honor, Miss Cellie McCollongh, and the best man, Mr. -Pressley Cooper, advanced the chancel railing, where : the marriage ceremony was performed. After the bendiction had been given the bridal party left the church to the strains of the wedding march from Lohengrin. After an elaborate luncheon at "Herndon Terrace," the elegant home of Mrs. VV.
