C., Feb. 23. 1902, Among the Churchot. The congregation of the Baptist church has decided not te call a pastor until they can build a parsonage. There are two flourishing prayer eetings in town at the Methodist and Baptist churches Tuesday and Thursday evenings, respectively. The Ladies1 Aid Society of the Methodist church will meet at the parsonage next Monday at S 30 p. m. All the ladies are earnestly requested to attend. To give tho members an opportunity of hearing Mrs, Bullock, the W. 0. T. U. organizer, the Sun beam Society did not hold their regular meeting Sunday afternoon. LastSabbath was an ideallylovelv day and the long lineii of arorshippers wending their way homeward in all directions from the morning service at the Hethodist church reminded one of the congregation of a city church. In the course of her lecture Mrs.Bullock spoke of the history and purpose of the W. 0. T. C. and she gave some interesting statistics showing the good work which has been aceemplshetf.
