Through some misunderstanding no taxes have been assessed for raising money with which to rebuild and keep in repair this fence. A petition is now being circulated asking that the county commissioners be authorized and -directed to borrow in >ney for this purpose, pledging the taxes to be .levied and collected this year for the repayment of the loan. Besides the line fence there is yet another tnatter that causes concern. There *re some farmers in this territory who declare that they are not able, and some that they have not the timber, to build fences around their larihs.
