RAILROAD FACILITIES.
We believe there is nearly twice
as much busiuess done at. Kingstree
depot as there is at any
other raildioad station in Williamsburg
county. Kingstree is
the capital oi the county, and this
of itself causes a good deal of
business to come here. And it
has .always seerred strange to us
that the railroad agent at Kiugstree
depot was not furnished an

it causes dissatisfaction among
the patrons of the road; this matter
should be looked after and remedied
at once. V'e have only one
freight train a dav?me day from
Charleston, next day from Florence?and

is packed in solid cars and put
off here on the side track, and ii

arives they have to take it out of
these box cars. It would take
one hand to load and unload those
cars alone and anv one with a
