M., for the purpose of transacting JLhe following business then and there to be brought before tho Convention : First, to elect six delegates to rep resent the County of Orangcburg in the State Convention to. be holden at Columbia on the first day of June jicxt. Second, to express the sense of the I)emocraU.cparty of this County npon the question of ".he repeal of the two thirds rule now of force in National Conventions/' Third; lg express the sense of the party innthis, county upon the ques tion "whether the nomination of the ?>ta*,c ticket should be made at the June 'Convention or at a subsequent limp i: ! ? Fourth, ;to elect a County Exccu t ive-Committee to serve, for the next p wo_ years. ififili, to eloqt a County Chairman JLo serve for the same period. Sixth, and to do and transact such other business as may properly be brought before said Convention. Presidents of Clubs are hereby di rected to call their clubs to meet on or before the first Saturday in May, the first day of tho month, for the pur pose of electing delegntes to the afore said County Convention, and ofre-or gapiging their clubs, it is urged upon Jho clubs to elect as delegates only those who can am] will attend the ponventioti. At these mcoiings of the clubs, they will proceed to elect their officers to serve for the next p:tmpaign, and-also each club will poinipulo a member uf the County Executive Committee to bo clouted by the County Convention. Thp retiring County Chairman has fcrjupgled our local papers to publish | (he Rules of the Democratic Party so J.h.at the Convention, the olubs; and p|p people may be fully and intelli gently informed as to the method of prgnpiftnlioti.
