Dr. babey has been in attendance as a physician in one of the hospitals in Baltimore, aud now returns to his county to practice bis profession, bringing with him all the skill and experience to be derived from an extensive hospital practice in one of our most populous cities. We wish him all the success possible. Branson's residence. The jailer fired twice at the running prisoner but with what effect is not known. We hope every effort will be made to recapture the man. Our Town need more of tho ornamental to make it attractive and pleasing. Thoro is a magic about beauty, and nothing tcuds nioro to attract tho members of a family than aa home judiciously ornamented, so it is with a town or country. Make it attrac tive and infuse into our young men a pride of homo and county. This Orangeburg needs sadly and our townsman, Mr. Ed Tobiu, is the man to meet tho demand.
