L fullness en Monday night,
si The town lias been without
these lights ev j r since the as
signment of the Darlington
Light, Water and Power Coin
pany last spring, which grew
out of the famous Cox trouble.
The Darlington Light aud Wa
ter Company, successsor to the
old company, has restored the
lights and is in a better position
to do the work than its predeces
sor, as will be seen by Jie fob
lowing comparison in the capa
cities of the old engines and
boilers which were taken way
and the new ones which have
been purchased in their stead.
The new engines are of the
“Buckeye” make and their ca
pacities are 75 and do horse-pow
er respectively, while the capa
cities of the old engines were
50 and 25. The capacities of
the new boilers are 80 horse
power each and of the old 50
each. The plant in its present
condition can run 750 incandes
cent and 05 arc lights, whereas,
formerly, it could only run 520
incandescent and 25 arc lights.
Mr. J. J. Forman, the effici
ent superintendent of the plant
for the old company, will con
tinue in the same position for
the new, and he will see to it
that the lights are always kept
“trimmed and burning.” The
town is now using 10 arc lights,
but it is not improbable that
this number will be increased
as several sections of the town
are in need of lights.

A wondorful and extraordinary combination of concern

Telegraphs, Steam and Printing—revolutionized the
whole system of tho globe, and made mankind wiser and

disease, and claiming much as to their merit, tho ro.
nzrkable discovery ot Dr. Haydock has eclipsed them
sll, and has founded a
NEW MEDICAL SYSTEM.
The Doctors, whose vast doses of four or five pills, en
feeble the stomach and paralyse tho bowels, must give
way to the man who restores ht altli and appetite with
one or two ot his extraordinary Vegetable Pills. One or
two oa DR. IIAYDOCK’B NEW LIVER PILLS suffices
to place the stomach in perfect order, creates an appe

Liver is affected its functions are restored, and if the

SYMPTOXS OF BILIOl’SYESS.
