Being bashful, he asked a friend if he would pro pose for him, and. if successful, he would pay $100 for his friend’s services. The friend succeeded in making the proposal, and the I young man was accepted. The marriage took place re cently and the friend asked for $100, but the young husband re-; fused to pay. The claim has been placed in the hands of a lawyer for collection.
