ORDINANCES. For the l^ewrvatido of Good Order in the Town of Timmonsville, 8. C. 1st. jfl Drunkenness and disorderly con* duct is prohibited in the corporate limits of the town. Any person violating this Ordinance, shall pay a fine of ndfc less than two dollars, and not more than twenty dollars; or be imprisoned not less than one day, or more than twenty days, or both, at discretion of Intendant. 2nd. All persons who retail spiritnous or malt liquors of any kind, will be required to give bond in the penal sum of $500 dollars, with two ap proved snreties, to keep an orderly house. 3rd. All persons applying tor license to retail spirituous or malt liquors, shall pay a fee of $150 dollars for the year ending December 31st, 1886, or for any part thereof and be recommended by two of i^e near est ed. 4th. 17th. j The town marshal shall be an thorixed and empowered to call upon any citizen to assist in mak ing arrests. Any citizen so called uimt), who refuses or neglects to ooey, shall be fined not more than five dollars for every such refusal or neglect. 18th. All persons are prohibited from horse, racing, riding or driving tasl on the streets. Any person viola ting this Ordinance shall pay a hue of not trore than five dollars, or be imprisoned not less than five days. 10th. Persons owning dogs, allowing same to stroll on the streets to the annoyance of any citizen, subject themselves to a fine ot two dollars, or the dog killed, as the owner may* elect. 20th. He writes as follows: Maxey’s, Oglethorpe Co., Ga. July 9ib, 1885. For twelve or fourteeu years I have been a great sufierev from a terrible form of blood poison which ran into the secondary, and finally it was pronounced a tertiary form. I chanced to see an advertise incut oi B. B. B., and sent one dol lar to W. C. Birchmore & Co., merchants of our place, and they procured one bottle for me. It was used with decided benefit, and w hen eight or ten bottles bad been used I was pronounced sound and well. Hundreds of scars can now be seen on me, looking like a man wbo bad been burned and then restored. My case was well known iu this county, and for the benefit of others who may be similarly affected. I tbink it my duty to give the facts to the public, aud to txteud my heartfelt thanks torso valuable a remedy. 1 have been well over twelve mouths, aud no return of the disease has occurred.
