therefore take the liberty of sending you

Christmas was probably tho most quiet
and inclement day of the last year in our
town. Sleet, and rain and cold winds
prevailed, and kept almost every one'
within doors, and those few who ventured
out looked as if they felt that they would
like to be elsewhere.

two squares farther down the street and
allows colored men to drink there, but
we understand tho saloon is a club ar
