Holland Hall is remodeled When the students and faculty begin returning to the Newberry College campus this week and next to begin the 1972-1973 school year, they may need a guide to find their way around Hol land Hali, the administration building. Although no work was done to the outside of the old build ing constructed in 1904, the in terior of the structure has been completely renovated. The classrooms and offices for the Department of Modem Languages was moved to the Science and Mathematics Build ing to make room for the expan sion of administrative offices. “We have felt for a long time,” Dr. Fredric B. Irvin said, “that the administrative staff has been handicapped in com pleting their work for the stu dents and for the College by not having the adequate facili ties and tools. We hope that with the remodeling of Holland Hall that the staff will be better able to serve the public.” Other changes that the return ing students will note on the campus is that the Air Force ROTC has been moved to Wright Hall, that new bleach ers have been installed in Setz- ler Field and in MacLean Gym nasium, and that the old Music Building has been razed. The old Music Building was con structed in 1909; it has been vacant since February after the Department of Music moved to its new $350,000 Alumni Music Center. • Black • Navy • Brown • Red SIDE CAR $19.99 WE HAVE THEM IN YOUR SIZE.
