Keis- ler conducting the service. Bu rial followed in Newberry Me- morial Gardens. Alexander ‘ rites Bobby Joe Alexander, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Alexander of Joanna, died Tuesday. Surviving also are a brother Carl Richard Alexander of the home; his grandparents, Mrs. Sallie Mae Alexander of Union and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Norris of Joanna; and his great-grand parents, Mrs. Rosa Alexander of Whitmire and Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heaton of Clinton. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rose- mont Cemetery. Miss Lillie Ringer ■ • I A A I Miss Lillie Viola Ringer, 86, of Route 1, Pomaria, died Mon day morning at her home. Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Anna Cromer Ringer. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mattie R. Long of Pomaria and a number of nieces and nep hews. Funeral was at 3 p.m. Tues day from Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Charles Shea- ly conducting the service. Bu rial followed in the church ce- netery. Mrs. J. H. Wesson died Sunday Mrs. Eunice Bouknight Wes son, 80, widow of the late John Henry Wesson, died Sunday night at the J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home. Mrs. Wesson was bom and reared in Lexington County and was the daughter of the late Caleb and Anna Bouknight. She had made her home in New berry for a number of years and was a member of O’Neal Street Methodist Church, and the Women’s. Missionary So ciety. Mr. Werts was born and rear ed in the Silverstreet section of Newberry County and was the son of the late Thomas M. and Minnie King Werts. He was a member of S» Luke’s Lu theran Church, anu was a re tired agent-operator for the C.N.&L. and Southern railroads, and a member of the Woodman of the World. He had made his home in Newberry, Clinton and Prosperity while serving with the railroads.
