everywhere.

Santa Claus and his sleighful

air by eight reindeer who an
swer to such spirited names as
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vix

The Lucia Bride
Swedish Tradition
The Lucia Bride is the sym

Christmas season in Sweden.
Each family chooses one of
the daughters, often the young
est, to portray St. Lucia. On
December thirteenth, St. Lucia's
Day, she rises before the rest
of the family. Dressed in white
and wearing a crown of light
ed candles, she goes to each
room wakening sleepers and
offering the coffee and fresh
ly baked buns.
May the spiritual
blessings of the
season be bestowed
on you and yours.
