If you burn them in open fireplaces, do so in small quantities and only if screen is in place. Better yet, avoid using the fireplace tc burn the wrappings. See that they are taken out and dumped in a covered metal barrel or incinerator. Never store them in wooden or paper containers a minute longer than it takes to gather the wrappings to gether and get them out of the house.
