Tay lor of Leesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Linda Caroline Taylor, to Mr. Orr McClentic Cobb Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Orr Mc Clentic Cobb of Newberry. A June wedding is planned. Miss Taylor is a senior at Newberry College and will com plete her degree requirements in June. Mr. Cobb, a 1966 grad uate of Newberry College, is a second year student at the Medical College of South Car olina, Charleston. Realtors hear Clingerman The Newberry County Board of Realtors was honored on Wednesday with a visit from Harold Clingerman, who is a regional representative from the National Association of Real Estate Boards, with head quarters in Chicago. A noon meeting and luncheon were held at the Newberry Inn. The primary purpose of Mr. Clingerman’s visit was to dis cuss national and state associa tion policy matters. The Newberry Board was or ganized a little more than two years ago and has profited in being associated with the state and national boards. Members of this professional organiza tion believe that a realtor is a professional in real estate, who subscribes to a strict code of ethics as a members of the lo cal and state board and of the National Association of Real Estate Boards. Members of the local board are Louis C. Floyd, Hal Kohn, Keitt Purcell, W. Tt. Reid, Bob bie Summer and Walter Wal lace. Associate members are Earl and David Summer and Miss Verna Kohn.
