the egg in the diet and the
value of the egg dollar to the
community, but to honor the
egg producers and distributors.
This (Thursday) morning, local
businessmen and women were
to gather at the Community

good Newberry County produ
cer eggs, and to pay tribute to
the industry.
The more eggs you buy and
use, the more you are helping
your health and the economic
health of the county. Be sure
to ask for Newberry County

LATE DATE
This is a mightly late time
to mention it, but each week
before it has slipped my mind
(as things often do). I do want
to tell the members of New
berry Fire Department how
much I enjoyed their Christmas
decorations at the firehouse. A
lot of thought and effort went
into their preparations to ex
tend holiday greetings to New-
berrians and they deserve a
word of thanks—even at this
late date.
