by the way .. . Bv DORIS A. SANDERS those errors: I was trying to explain to someone the other day how easily errors can be made in putting together a newspaper. A classic example occurred in the story about next year's fac ulty for Newberry Academy in last week’s Sunpaper. In order to straighten it out, here, in correct form, 1 hope, is the faculty for next year: First grade, Mrs. Annie Ciomer; second grade, Mrs. Jerry Forte; third grade, Mrs. Sue Layton Davenport; fourth grade, Miss Sallie Lee Cromer, who is also head teacher; fifth grade, Mrs. Diane Bruner; sixth, seventh and eighth grades, with departmental work, Mrs. Margaret McAl- hany, Mrs. Sara Shealy, and Mrs. Marjorie Fn-tweli. Mrs. May Tarrant Fpting will be music teacher Enrollment for the next ses sion are beginning to come in, according to Dr. K’.nard, who will be happy U> furnish appli cation forms and information about the Academy. He stress ed the fact that enrollment w.li be kept to 25 in each ela^-o-oom and students would be tak> n on a first-come, first-serve basis, nrovided their npplvat ■ m< are approvt d SPRINGTIME I,ast week, commt n’.ing n the beaut\ of X'-v berr\ ;r. the Spring, I mentioned th*- 'ove'y grounds around the home o; Dr. and Mrs J. E Grant on O’Neal street. As a result. I received a most throughful and interesting letter from Dr. Grant, and I do not believe he will mind if I share it with you. Citizens like the Grant family are ones who make the community a decent place in which to live. H.s letter fol lows : "Since reading 'Springtime' in your coiumn in the April bth isue of the Sun today. 1 wei. unedrstand why suddenly our area has been and r- b» u.g v.s- iterd by so many p(-opi u.oo tuek a nd' out G'Neal Street ti. m e ojr azaleas and tree- as y.u suggested.
