when done with skill.

Carve Icq first; insert the fork
firmly throuqh the center of the
wishbone. Place the platter so
that the leys of the bird are to
ipmr riqht. Start by earvinq the
Icq nearest you. Make a verti
cal cut on each side of the second
joint of the leq where it is at
(ached to the body by skin.
Bend the entire leq toivard the
platter. With the point of the
slieer cut throuqh the connect
inq skin andsocket and remove
the leq. Xext cut off the winq.
To slice the breast meat, place
the blade at the top of t h e
breastbone. Push the knife
dow n wa rd a nd fo viva rd toiva rd
the winq socket. Continue by
movinq the knife a deqreee/oser
to the bird. Complete one side
of the bird before turninq to re
peat the same method.

1835, and so received its
name. Connected with the
other states by the Cnited
Static mail, the post office
has been kept busy through
out December remailing
cards, letters, and packages.
In one year it handles over
300.000 pieces of mail.
Lately a permanent Christ
mas tree with weatherproof
ornaments has been erected.
FOR CARDS
Plunge several evergreen
branches into a large flower
pot. Paint a clay pot bright
red or green. You can display
your Christmas cards on the
branches by tapeing or clipping
them on.

styles worn by their favorite
dolls can delight a young
girl's heart. The coin-dot shirt-
maker at left is of Combed
Sateen, and has a doll-carry
