CHRISTMAS
Christmas is not complete with the traditional eggnog. Today it
is possible to buy eggnog from the milkman or the corner grocer—
or make your own as folks used to do.
Here is a typical recipe:
Traditional Christmas Eggnog
6 eggs, separated
V2 cup sr.gar
2 cups light or whipping cream
2 cups milk
& teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
Freshly ground nutmeg
Beat egg yolks and sugar until
thirk and lemon-colored. Beat
in cream, milk, salt and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until they hold
stiff peaks; fold into egg yolk
mixture. Serve in chilled punch
bowl; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Makes 2V» quarts.

Christmas distribution in lonely mountain areas..
Bathrooms, especially
in older houses, are often
a real problem. They are
usually unattractive and
lack essential storage
space.
You might tackle the
problem by enclosing the
sink in a modern cabinet
with sliding doors. One
side can be drawers to -
hold the thousands of
items that collect in
every household bath
room.
The top of the cabinet
should be of a hard,
water-proof material.
Above the cabinet in
stall a long medicine cabinet with
sliding mirror doors. Install a
modern light above the mirror-
cabinet.

redecorating plan. You can carry
on from there with fresh paint

the cabinet can be very effective
in your decoration scheme. Beau
tiful, modern styles are available
everywhere

a minimum. Consider carefully
before you move everything in
that you have moved out. Select
only the best pieces and the fewer
the better.
