Much has been publicized of the dedication of communism to destroy us, so any review of this point is wasted effort. We either believe it or we do not. Yet what is largely missed is that communists believe we shall destroy ourselves as a de cadent people. And this may well be true if moral inertia continues to weaken us. We have had the piouu hope that communism may destroy it self through internal strife. Such a hope has been pursued for forty years. And we have been spec tators all this time to the ascend ency of communist power. Where is the weakness that has led to this advance of our dedi cated enemy if not in our moral fiber? Why have we failed to challenge with any success all such precepts of society contrary to our own? Many historic factors over the period of years might be noted. But a basic cynicism of the in dividual regarding the relation ship of government to its citizens has led to an enslavement policy of dependency. This in turn has altered much of our national view point. A vast give-away concept has arisen which makes “rigged’* TV shows and corporation price fixing pale by comparison. Awareness of our weaknesses, like knowledge of an illness, can lead to corrective measures. These can be sought out through tUe diligent effo^ of sincere in dividuals. The tools exist for “sur gical treatment” in ouv (Constitu tion and Bill of Rights. It is up to us to use them. Groups banded together can exercise the force of public opinion. The press stands ready to bring publicity to evidence of »u&3ic action. Write your newspaper on the subject of ways to strengthen our national moral fiber. We must start translating our convictions into action! —r ! ' ' “•agggaagBBPj te-i-XvXvKvv*" mmm yKwsg “See!
