Woman Succumbs
William LeRoy Sanders, 74,
retired chief electrician of the
Wateree Textile Plant, died at
his home on the Jefferson Davis
Highway in Camden at 2:30 p.
m. Sunday after an extended ill
ness.
Survivors include a daughter.
Mrs. Edward Barnes of Newber
ry.
Funeral services were conduct
ed from the Wateree Baptist
Church at 4 p. rn. Monday, by the
Rev. Marvin Simpson. Burial was
in the Quaker Cemetery.

Kester, formerly of Newberry,
will regret to learn that he is a
patient at the Colleton County
hospital, Walterboro, where Jie
underwent major surgery Monday
of this week. It is expected that
he will be confined to the hospital
for about two weeks.
