Foster L. Wood i Recent Movings Building Permits
Dies At Home
Foster L. Wood, 61, died Mon-

ton street. He had been in de
clining health for six months and

Mr. Wood was born and reared
In Saluda County, son of the late

He had spent most of his life in

Tenn.; three brothers, J. W., E.

feerry; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conduct
ed at 3 p. m. Wednesday at O’Neal
Street Methodist Church by the
Bar. J. W. Davenport, the Rev.
ft. M. Brooks, the Rev. Jesse W.
Tomlinson and the Rev. D. M.
Shull. Burial was in Rosemont

Club Has Meeting
The Stoney Hill 4-H club met
Wednesday, September 7 with *28
members present. The meeting
was called to order by our local
club leader, Mlrs. R. C. Hunter.
All joined in singing “America”
and the 23rd Psalm was repeated
in unison. The Flag Salnte was
given and the 4-H pledge was
sung. The following are the of
