TWUA Local Union Meeting Set Sunday There will be a meeting of ^T.W.U.A. Local Union No. 324 on Sunday afternoon, April 3, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mollohon School Audi torium. All members are urged to attend. Visitors are welcome. Grady Price, Pub. Sec. Local 324 night and Saturday, March 25 and 26, at Lake Murray. This camping trip was planned for the purpose of training officers in camping routine. The officers of the troop include Wildcat Patrol Leader Pope Bu ford, assistant Ned Lowell, scribe, Eddie Lominack; also Beaver Pa trol Leader Bill Shealy; assistant Bill Lominack, Quartermaster, Henry Wilson; Bugler Kenny Mar tin, and Senior Patrol Leader Dickie Briggs. All of the boys had a turn at cooking on an open fire. They looked for arrowheads and went fishing. The boys divided into pairs and put up their tents. Th^y got back at 4:15 Saturday after an interesting and successful- trip. Eddie Lominack, Scribe Holy Week Services At Mayer Memorial Holy Week Services will be held in Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church, beginning this Palm Sun day, April 3, ahd will continue each night through Good Friday. At the 11:00 a.m. worship on Sunday, new members will be received into the Church by Confirmation and letter of transfer. All night ser vices will be held at 7:30 p.m. ex cept on Sunday when the hour is 7:00 p.m. The Lord’s Supper will be ad ministered on Thursday night. Ser mon topics will be centered around Thursday, March 31: There will be a very important meeting tonight at the Youth Center (can teen) beginning at 7:30 for all Little League Baseball sponsors and managers. Plans must be made for the coming season, so let’s all be there. If you can’t be there,' make sure you send a representa tive of your team. April 1st and 2nd, Friday and Saturday: Teen-age nights. April 4th, Monday: Bridge night. April Oth, Tuesday:^ Girl Scouts use the Youth Center in the after* noon from 3:00 to 4:30. Boy Scouts use the basement of the Youth Center at night. After the open ing devotional, the salute to the flag, and the essential greetings and* responses, the Rev. Neil E. Truesdale, who was instrumental in organizing the local post, will address the delegates. A recrea tion hour, under the leadership of Charles Dukes and Miss Becky Dabney, assisted by Phil and Jean Spotts, will be held in the gymna sium after the afternoon session.
