THE SUN OFFICE, Phone No. 1. ink it O, ver* One question that is often asked us in regard to our Slo gan Contest is, "Is there a limit on the number of words that may be used?” As we have announced before, a slo gan may be as long or as short as you like. There is no limit. However, short slogans, or those of reasonable length, five or six words, we should say, are usually more catchy One of the best known slogans in America is that of Ivory soap, "It floats,” and no doubt it has sold many a cake of this soap. The Central Life Insurance Company has as its slogan, “Call Central.” And we think it is one of the beet we have seen. Some slogans, however, run as long as 15 or more words. So just use your own judgment. Either a short or a long one may win. Remember, bad writing or spelling will not count against you. Of course, it must be read able, but it’s the sentiment or meaning that counts. PRESIDENT CAPITAL LIKE AND HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY COLUMBIA. S. C.
