Von Anderson, David, and Elmer, and Mrs. H. E. Counts, Sr. spent Sunday in Charleston with Miss Martha Counts, student at the S. C. Medi cal College. Mr. and Mrs. Fred James of Taylors attended the funeral of Mrs. Ben Hall, sister-in-law of Mrs. James, in Columbia Saturday and came to Prosperity for the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Leaphart, Sr. Teachers Of State To Meet In 64th Annual Convention The 64th annual convention of the South Carolina Education as sociation will be held Thursday and Friday, March 20 and 21 in Columbia. The convention will formally open with a meeting of the council of delegates in Dray ton Hall, University High School on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. The general session will con vene that night. Departmental meeting are set for Friday morn ing and afternoon and will be held in various places throughout the city. The 64th session will conclude with a general meeting Friday night at 8 p. m. when Dr. Andy D. Holt, administrative as sistant to the president, Univer sity of Tennessee, will deliver the principal address. Mrs. Nannie Fulmer Dies In Leesville ^Trs. Nannie Willie Fulmer, 74, of Route 2, Leesville, died Satur day night afte- a long illness. She had been only seriously ill for the past two weeks. « Mrs. Fulmer was the widow of J. L. Fulmer and the daughter of the late Noah Fulmer and Carrie McNary Fulmer. Funeral services were con ducted at 3 o’clock Monday, from the St. Mark’s Lutheran church by the Rev. William McCray and the Rev. Russell Boggs. Survivors include her husband; six sons, F: O., G. H., and N. C: Fulmer, all of Newberry, J. E. Fulmer of Sumter, F. E. Fulmer of Lenoir City, Tenn., and J. W. Fulmer of Prosperity; four daugh ters, Mrs. R. S. Bradley of Bates- burg, Mrs. W. A. Hipp of Saluda Mrs. C. D. Snellgrove of Sumter and Mrs. S. G. Shealy of Lees ville; one adopted daughter, Mrs. Roy McCormick of Batesburg; one brother, George L. Fulmer o# Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. M. D. Derrick of Prosperity, Mrs. T. L. Mr. Brown was born in Blythe wood and had been a life long resident of that community. He was the son of the late Alexan der and Julia Rhymer Brown and was a member of the Zion Metho dist church. Among Mr. Brown's survivors is Mrs. J. Ray Dawkins of this city. Funeral services were conduct ed Monday afternoon from Zion Methodist church with the Rev. L. D. Haner, the Rev. M. E.
