bia, spent a few days the first
of the week with her mother,
Mrs. P. D. Johnson on Boundary
street. She also attended the
Martin-Summer wedding which
took place in the Central Metho
dist church Wednesday afternoon
at 5 o’clock.

turning to George Air Force Base
in California today (Friday), after
spending a week’s furlough here

Dr. E. D. Kerr, a member of the
Columbia Seminary faculty in
Decatur, Ga., with his wife and
father-in-law, Z. F. Wilson, arriv
ed in Newberry Tuesday to send
the summer months at their home

Frank Kinard returned to the
University of North Carolina in
Chapel Hill Thursday to continue
to work towards his degree, after
spending a week’s vacation here
with his parents, Dr. and Mrs.

are spending this week on a

morial Hospital on Monday May
28, returned to his home on Dray

recruperating nicely.
