Ridipg breeches are no good for hiking because they are too tight around the calvee. She wears a Stetson with s three-inch brim most of the time, but has a cap with ear flaps to use when It gets down around zero. She has a waterproof Jack et for rain and one of down for cold weather. She also has and wears when It Is cold, long wool underwear of the best quality. Cheap wool scratches. Her guns and fishing tackle are as good as her husband’s, but lighter. She has been care fully taught how to use them. Stories such as hers have proved to me that a normal girl or woman has both the interest and ability to become a skillful angler, hunter and camper And one who Is, I can assure you, will always be more, tolerant of her husband’s going alone once in a while.
