Mrs. Cannon is planning to move
in about a week from Johnstone
street, into one of the Wiseman
Apartments on Calhoun street.
Jack Taylor, who was injured
in an automobile accident near
Concord, N. C. three weeks
ago, was brought to the home
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
W. Taylor on Calhoun street,
last Saturday from the Charlotte
Memorial Hospital, where he had
been a patient since the accident.
He is reported to be recuperat
ing nicely, although he will have
to remain in a cast for sometime.

a scholar, a writer, and a lecturer
on Carl Sandburg, the poet
whom he has been visiting at
Flat Rock, N. C.
