Bride-Elect Honored Miss Rosalyn Sanders was en tertained last Saturday evening with a lovely kitchen shower by THE NEWBERRY SUN her sister, Miss Virgil Sanders of Holly Hill. A small assemblage of close friends gathered at the home on Clyde avenue, which was deco rated with autumn motif. Many games and contests were enjoyed. Prizes were won by Mrs. James Hazel and Miss Virgil San ders. A delicious chicken salad course with coffee was enjoyed after which Miss Sanders was presented with many attractive and useful gifts. Each guest was given on arrival a tiny net bag of rice tied with white satin ribbon as a favor. Pvt. Jack Sanders and Pvt. James R. Stewart of Fort Belvoir, Va., wil visit Cadet Howard N. Parks ot the U. S. Military Academy, West Point, N. Y., at the Army and Navy game Saturday, Nov. 30 in Phila delphia, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Darby and children spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. Paul Thomas of Lexington. Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Long had as their Sunday guests.
