H; ird, which was solemnized Fri- '\'7 fternoon March twenty-third at MX o'clock at the Silverstreet Luth eran parsonage with the Rev. P. D. Risinger officiating. Mrs. Havird is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Huckaby of En- oree and is a graduate of Lander College, Greenwood, class of 1941. She has been teaching since gradua tion in the schools of Union and Newberry counties. She at present is a member of the faculty of Bush River High schpl in Newberry coun ty. Mr. Havird is the son of Mrs. B.M. Havird and the late Mr. Havird of Silverstreet, received his education in the school of his native village an at Newberry College.
