TO OUR CUSTOMERS:
- ’ ' * *
Due to the gas and tire shortage and the large number of
articles on our “Lay Away" plan, it will be difficult to
make all deliveries exactly on time the day before Christ-
*
mas. This, therefore, is to ask our friends, if possible, to
get their purchases out before December 24th. This will
greatly relieve our delivery problems and will be-appre
ciated. Our store will be closed Friday and Saturday,
December 25 th and 26th.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

NOW THAT SILK HAS GONE TO WAR, rayon hose is doing double duty to
keep lovely American legs as beautifully clad as ever. We have a variety of rayon
hose in many different degrees of sheerness. With proper care they’ll last and last,
as leg-flattering as any stocking you ever wore!
Buy Wisely, in the proper foot and length measurements, according to your in
dividual requirements. And buy in varying degrees of sheerness for sport, business
or dress.
Handle With Care in putting them on. The stocking should be gathered down,
then slipped over your foot. This avoids runs, catches and snags.
Wash properly, after each wearing, and be sure they are dried thoroughly before
wearing them again. Lukewarm sudsy water should be used. Squeeze, but do not
wring water out.
