Chamberlain of Macon, Ga., were recent guests of relatives in and around town. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hanveyof Portsmouth, Va., visited friends and relatives in the county the past week. Mr. Charlie Connor, Jr., from Greenville, spent the week end here with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Tal bert. Mrs. L. K. Simpson is spending a few days in Greenwood with rel atives. Mrs. Wilton E. Britt has return ed from a visit to friends and rel atives in Auburn, Ky. Friends of Mrs. Emma Leslie will regret to know of her illness at her home in the Bellvue com munity. Mr. F. C. Mrs. David Wardlaw and chil dren, David, Bettye and Florence, have returned from a visit to Spartanburg. Mrs. Thos. Buie and children of Spartanburg are visiting in the home of Mrs. David Wardlaw.
