Mattison, III. X Bergen-Marsh Miss Florence E. Bergen of Bos ton, Mass., became the bride of Edwin W. Marsh of Augusta and Boston in a double ring ceremony here Wednesday evening, October 13th, at nine o’clock with the Rev. L. K. Simpson, nastor of the McCormick Baptist Church, offi ciating. Vows were spoken at the home of the eroom’s aunt, Mrs. Fannie Kate McCain. An altar of ferns, palms, and Southern smilax, flanked with floor candelabra of white candles and tall baskets of white roses, was improvised in the living room before a large mirror. A program of nuptial music was given by Mrs. D. C. Talbert, rdanict. and Mrs G. A. Simnson. vocalist. Mrs. Talbert played “Ave Maria” as L. W. Marsn and Robert Lee Olive of Augusta, uncles of the groom, lighted Oe candles. Mrs. Simpson 'saffTg, “Sweetest Story Ever Told.” The traditional wedding march was used and she played “Indian Love Call” and “To a Wild Rose,” dur ing the ceremony. The bride’s only attendant was Mrs. Ray Lackman of Augusta. She wore navy blue with match ing acessories and her corsage was of pink radiance roses. The groom was attended by Mr. Rav Lackman of Augusta. The bride and groom entered together. She wore a powder blue crepe dress with a turban fashioned of coke and maline to match. Her corsage was of sweet heart roses. Mrs. Marsh is the daughter of County Of McCormick.
