The date of the wedding will be announced later. X O’Neal-Morgan Selma, N. C., July 19.—Miss Dorothy Reid O’Neal of Selma, N. C., became the bride of Charles C. Morgan, Jr., in a quiet cere mony Wednesday, July 14, 1943, at 3:30 in the afternoon, with the Rev. D. M. Clemmons, pastor of the Selma Baptist Church, of ficiating at his home. The double ring ceremony was used. Mrs. Morgan is the only daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mil lard O’Neal of Selma. She com pleted high school at Selma and the junior class at Brenau Col lege, Gainesville, Ga. At Brenau she was popular in campus ac tivities and an outstanding stu dent, being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta national sorority and Sigma Pi Alpha and Gamma Sigma Epsilon, national honorary fraternities. For her marriage she wore a tailored navy two piece sheer with matching accessories. Her corsage was of sweet-heart roses. Preceding the rites. Mrs. Morgan was entertained with several love ly affairs. Mr. Morgan is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie C. Morgan of McCormick. He is a graduate of McCormick High School and Clemson College, having received his B. S. degree in business administration the past June. At Clemson he was first lieutenant of Co. D-2, execu tive officer of R. O. T. C. Following a short wedding trip they are at home with the groom’s parents in McCormick until Mr. Morgan leaves for Of ficers Training Camp, Ft.
