She was educated at the De la Howe State School and since her graduation June ’41 she has made her home in McCormick where she has been employed by Brown’s Inc. Mr. Jennings is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Jennings of Mc Cormick. He was graduated from the Washington High School, Parksville, and has been in the U. S. Navy since last December. N. Talbert and her sister, Mrs. W. C. Reedy, of Tampa, Fla., who wa£ here on a visit, surprised their mother. Mrs. E. B. Brown, with a most delightful luncheon in honor of her birthday. The beautifully appointed table had roses as a centerpiece and covers were laid for eight of Mrs. Brown’s closest friends. Three courses were served. On Wednesday following, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Talbert enter tained with a bridge luncheon complimenting Mrs. Reedy. A profusion of summer flowers was used throughout the ‘^receiving rooms. Mrs. Reedy was given a dainty toiletry and a delicious two course luncheon was served. Class of the local Baptist Sunday School was de lightfully entertained at the home of Mrs. H. G. Sanders on Monday afternoon with Mrs. H. N. Following a short business ses sion Mrs. Coleman assisted by the other hostesses conducted a period of recreation and delicious ice cream and pound cake were served.
