Miss Cornelia Campbell, stu dent nurse of St. Mary's Hospital in Anderson, spent last week with relatives and friends in Plum Branch and McCormick. Talbert, of the Re hoboth community. week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scruggs. Judge A. B. Andrews of Willing- ton was a visitor here yesterday. Judge J. P. Brunson of Parks- ville was a visitor here yesterday morning. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Britt and son, Mr. Thomas Britt, spent Sun day at Pauline with Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Palmer and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Nixon Talbert of Lancaster, spent the week end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar B. Brown. Mr. J. M. Hemminger of Willing- ton was a visitor here yesterday. Mrs. Ashby King of Greenwood was a recent visitor to relatives here. Mrs. H. L. Smith is spending a few weeks with her brother, Mr. T. W. Gable, of near town. Miss Carolyn Hitt is visiting relatives in Hagerstown, Md., and Parkersburg, W. Va. v Miss Sara Al verson has returned home, after a two months’ visit to friends and relatives in and near Belton. Mrs. P. F. Alverson, Misses Doris and Sara Alverson, and Mrs. Eugene Vanadore visited Mr. John McCoy, who is a patient in Ander son County Hospital, Sunday af ternoon. Mr. Jack Scruggs, Jr., of gusta, Ga., spent last week here with his parents, Mr. Mrs. Jack Scruggs. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Campbell and sons, Masters Edward and Al bert, have returned home after spending a week in Florida with Mrs. Campbell’s brother, Mr. H. C. Sandifer, and' family, in Jackson ville, and Mr. Campbell’s niece and nephew, Jacquelin, and Walter Campbell, Jr., at Sarasota, and other points of interest. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Campbell at Waycross, Ga. white and her flowers a shoulder corsage of white carnations. For the past two years she has been bookkeeper for the Augusta Build ing and Supply company and has made a host of friends in Augusta. Mr. McDonald is the second son of Mrs. Annie Lou Meyer and the late Gordon McDonald, of Augusta. He received his education at the Greenwood high school. Green wood, S. C., and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N. C. He now holds an important position with the Standard Optical company of Au gusta. C., have returned home after visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Chamberlain. Mrs. H. Drucker returned Fri day from New York City, where she spent about ten days, buying fall and winter merchandise for the H. Drucker stores here and at Honea Path. Miss Nellie Long returned to her home the past week after spend ing several days with relatives in Anderson, Westminster and Toccoa, Ga. Mrs. Sophia Tillman Buchanan of Clarks Hill, widow of the late Judge O. W. Buchanan of Winns- boro, was in McCormick Saturday.
