C., Friday, of the new 1939 Ford line of cars, which includes the entire line of Ford roducts, consisting Gilbert’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Charles Talbert, of Sandover. After spending a week here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Deason, Mr. Everett Deason has returned to his work with the Blue Bird Ice Cream Co. at Laurens. Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Alverson had as their week end guests Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Stone, Mr. Dewhitt Tumlin, Miss Colie Hanley and of the Ford j Miss Anna Belle Tumlin and Miss tandard Models, DeLuxe, the J Margaret Turner, all of Belton. Mercury, the Lincoln-Zephyr and the Lincoln. Mr. Caudle will have on display at his show room here Friday, November 4th, the Standard and DeLuxe Models and he especially invites everybody to come in and see them. Mr. J. L. Bracknell of Plum Branch was a visitor here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. H. Drucker spent Sunday at Decatur, Ga., with their daughter, Miss Rebecca Drucker, student at Agnes Scott College. They were accompanied on the trip by Mrs. J. J. Dorn. High School, spent the week end here with relatives. Mr. J. M. Hemminger of Willing- ton was among the visitors here Saturday. Mrs. C. C. Sisk of Newport. Tenn., is here on a visit to her parents, Hon. and Mrs. T. A. Dow- tin, of near town. to her parents, Johnnie Connor. Mr. and Mrs. Misses Martha Koon of New berry and Cornelia Wood of Edge- field spent Saturday with Miss Fannie Kate Key of Modoc. Mr. and Mrs. Robert H.
