Fuller in Greenwood. He was carried to the Greenwood Hospital Wednes- • day of last week and later removed, to Dr. Fuller’s. Tom is a member' of the first grade in the McCormick School and his innumerable friends are anxious that he soon recover. The United States Civil Service Commission has announced an ex amination for the positions of senior and junior stenographer and senior and junior typist. This Examination is Being Held For Appointment in Washington, D. C., Only. Applicants must be at least 18 but under 53. For positions in the ap portioned service at Washington, D.! C., they must show actual and bona fide residence in the State or Territory claimed for at least 6 months next preceding the clos ing date for receipt of applications. Retail deliveries of V-12 Lincoln- Zephyr motor cars in the United States reached a new high for 1936 in the second 10-day period of March, it was announced at the home offices of the Ford Motor Company. The total for the period was 424 cars, exceeding any other 10-day period this year. Production of Lincoln Zephyr cars, at, the Lincoln plant in De troit has been raised to a level per mitting reasonably prompt! delivery, it was stated.
