Golden Text: Mark 9:24. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Self enter tained the Washington High School faculty on Friday night, January 24th, at a dinner party in honor of the birthday of their daughter, Glenn. After a delicious dinner all motored to McCormick to the theatre. Miss Margaret Hemminger, room mate of Miss Glenn Self, was a wdfek end visitor at the latte’s home, last week end. Since foremen and supervisors are re sponsible that conscientious service is rendered by all employes under their jurisdiction, those who habitually permit shirking by work ers who are under their direction may similarly be suspended or dis charged. Employes discharged for these reasons will not again be em ployed by the Works Progress Ad ministration either on the same or another project, nor will they be certified for employment to any other government agency which is participating in the work program unless they cgn demonstrate that the (discharge was not warranted. At the time of his death he was pastor of Big Zion, near Epworth, Little Zion a few miles below on the Saluda road, Greenwood County, New Hope at Plum Branch, and Bethany a- McCormick.
