ber 18th, at 3:30 o’clock. All mem

ting along very nicely, and expects
to return home today.

Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta
on November 30th, is reported to

is spending about ten days in At
lanta with her mother and expects
to return home next Monday. .

few close friends of the young
couple. After a brief wedding trip
Mr. and Mrs. Lawton will reside at
Willington in the upper part of this
county where he is engaged in
farming.

On Friday evening Mrs. J. Arch
Talbert was hostess to her rook
club. The dining and living rooms
were en suite and bowls of narcissi
and autumn foliage formed an ef
fective setting for the four tables of
players. Prior to the game a tempt- t
ing bufffet supper of baked ham,
hot rolls, congealed salad, cheese
straws, a sweet course and hot cof*
fee was served.
Mrs. Dacus P. McCain who will
leave this week to make her home
in Nashville, N. C., was presented a
gift by the club.
