The bride’s mother wore a wine silk dress, trimmed In chiffon vel vet, and a corsage of pink roses. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black silk gown trimmed in white. Before the ceremony Mrs. Ed ward Anderson sang “Because” and “At Dawning,” accompanied on the organ by Mr. Vernon W. Watson who also played the wedding march and the recessional. The church rostrum was beauti fully decorated in smilax, palms and dahlias against a background of white, surmounted with candles. I Miss Clarke was graduated from Memminger High School of Char leston in 1930 and until her mar riage was secretary at the W. C. S. C. radio studios. Mr. Dukes was graduated from the Citadel in 1932 and this spring received his Bache lor of Theology degree at the Southern Baptist Theological sem inary in Louisville, Ky. The couple left immediately after the ceremony for a trip to Louis ville. ' Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Dukes, Sr., parents of the bridegroom; Messrs.
