Miss Harvey will succeed Mrs. Nell Stallworth Banks, who was recently married and ; whose resignation takes effect February 28. Miss Harvey attended Winthrop and Limestone colleges, receiving her degree from the latter in 1928. She has done summer school work ! at the University of Tennessee on her master’s degree. Since graduation Miss Harvey has been teaching home economics in the schools of the state, having taught one year In Abbeville county and five years In the Berkeley high school at Moncks Corner. Miss Harvey is well trained for the posi tion and is familiar with the work, having for the past five years acted as local leader for the 4-H and adult clubs of Pinopolis, as presi dent of her club, and has assisted and worked with her agent in many capacities. Miss Harvey will report to McCormick the latter part of February. Mrs. Banks has for the past five years been home agent in McCor mick county. During that time she has endeared herself to the people throughout the county for the fine work she has done among them.
